SPRING IS HERE! 28th Annual San Antonio Home & Garden Show Set for February 22-24, 2008 --Event to Showcase Inspirational Ideas for the Home & Garden-- WHAT: Spring has arrived in San Antonio! Whether you’re landscaping your new home or simply sprucing up the home you have, the San Antonio Home & Garden Show, presented by Show Technology, Inc., will offer yards and yards of inspiration. Guests can check out thousands of square feet of flowers, landscape displays and water gardens as well as take home spring plants – cash and carry! Landscape and garden professionals, as well as home improvement and lifestyle experts, will set down stakes and provide ideas and expertise. Seminars will be available on everything from cultivating roses to drought-resistant plants. The event will feature Paul James of HGTV’s “Gardening by the Yard,” as well as Sue Whitney from the “Junk Market Girls,” as she turns junk into one-of-a-kind furniture and whimsical accessories. An Interior Design Showcase will feature seven designer rooms, and members of the National Association of Remodelers will be on hand for free “Ask the Expert” consultations. The Kitchen and Bath Center will showcase everything from countertops and cabinets to sinks and flooring. Plus, there’s an extensive GO TEXAN! Area featuring free wine tasting and food sampling, and the Animal Defense League will be offering pet adoptions all weekend long. Kids will enjoy the custom play sets and gazebos, too. And, the first 300 guests each day will receive a free plant courtesy of the South Texas Growers.
